Genuine parts vs non genuine parts

One of the main expenses we are all bound to come across when owning a car is the cost of regular maintenance. And, let’s be honest here, we ALL dislike shelling out for a service!

Sadly, as with any mechanical device, certain parts of your car need changing from time to time – and due to the initial cost factor, you might think that going to a non-Toyota service Centre who offers cheaper parts over genuine ones is the way to go, cost-wise.

This is however, not necessarily so.

While the cheaper alternative looks like a great option due to the perception of lower maintenance cost, using non-genuine parts may actually end up delivering a range of problems that have the potential of costing you a lot more in the long run.

Why, You Ask?

When you opt to use cheap spare parts on your Toyota (or any make of car for that matter), they tend to damage the supporting genuine parts that they are linked to; in short because they were not designed to work together synergistically from the start. They just don’t fit right and additionally may not be made to the exacting standards of the original manufacturer – which can end up compromising your engine and any of the other vehicle systems they form part of.

Inferior parts can cause damage and loss of performance, even potentially compromising your safety and that of your passengers. And, as genuine parts are designed specifically for your model, they will also fit better and more easily – and operate perfectly first time.

Who in their right mind would want to spend MORE time and MORE money than they have to?

While genuine parts support the integrity of your vehicle and its performance, non-genuine parts can lead to a reduction in the resale value of your car and potentially lead to the early retirement of your much-loved vehicle.

There’s MORE money down the drain!

The Good News! More Added Benefits…

Any parts we supply and fit for you will be covered under your warranty wherever applicable, in addition to our dealer guarantee.

The running life of your model could also be significantly extended, meaning you can enjoy safer and reliable motoring for even longer.

The Bottom Line Is….

Let’s be honest. Any car you purchase will likely cost you a chunk of change, so if you love your Toyota enough to invest in its purchase the first time around, protect its future by servicing with a Toyota Service Centre – we will always use genuine

parts to protect the life of your investment.
